BHA Schools Coach

Berkshire Hockey are expanding coaching at local schools and seek a passionate and inspirational Hockey Coach to join us and play an important role in developing hockey across the County.

Berkshire Hockey Association (BHA) is strongly supportive of hockey at schools throughout the county. Each year a highly competitive School Tournaments program is run for under 11 to under 18 boys and girls, with some schools progressing to Regional and National Competitions.

We have also assisted with coaching at a number of schools and are keen to expand this. We are therefore seeking a passionate and inspirational Hockey Coach to join our team and play an important role in the ongoing development of hockey at multiple schools across the County.

This is an exciting opportunity for a coach who is passionate about hockey and player development, and is committed to helping provide opportunities for young people achieve their full hockey potential.

This is a paid role with remuneration at a competitive hourly rate.

A DBS check will be required.

We are looking for a candidate who is:

• An excellent role model who inspires and motivates young players.
• Available to Coach in Berkshire and nearby areas between 1:00pm and 4:00pm on weekdays in term time.
• A good communicator, able to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
• Keen to develop teams where every player is challenged, supported and developed.
• Passionate about developing every child to be the best they can be.
• At least level 1 coaching and/or umpiring qualification (or be willing to work towards one).
