Camberley & Farnborough HC: Men’s 1st team coach
Camberley and Farnborough HC CamberleyCamberley and Farnborough Hockey Club is seeking an ambitious Lead Coach for the Men's 1st XI for the 2026/27 season and to take them forward after this.
Currently they play in the South East Open - Men's Division 2 Oaks. The team are looking for a coach who can offer structured training, and a clear vision for how the team can progress to the next level.
This is an good opportunity for a coach who enjoys working with a keen group of players and who wants to make a genuine impact within our supportive club.
Responsibilities Include:
Deliver a weekly high-quality, performance-focused training session
Develop and implement a clear tactical approach to gameplay.
Prepare the team for weekly league games
Manage individual player development
Work with the team captain and Director of Hockey supporting the team’s ambitions
Assist with player recruitment across the club and support a clear pathway for player progression between squads
Training is on a Wednesday evening throughout the season
Ideal Candidate
Experience coaching at club or performance level
Strong understanding of modern tactical hockey and player development
England Hockey coaching qualification (Level 2 or above preferred)
Strong communication and organisational skills
