Performance Players + Goalkeepers

Cardiff University Men’s Hockey Club is recruiting performance-level players and goalkeepers for the 2026/27 season.

Our Men’s 1st XI compete in BUCS Premier South and West Premier on Saturdays, providing a genuine opportunity to play high-level university and club hockey. Following a standout season across the wider club, including an undefeated BUCS league and cup campaign for the Men’s 2nd XI and promotion into BUCS Division 1, Cardiff now has real momentum.

We are looking to strengthen the squad as we push for BUCS progression, a strong Saturday league campaign, and a serious national cup run.

Cardiff is an ideal option for ambitious players who want more than just being another name in a large squad. Here, committed players have the chance to compete for meaningful minutes, make an impact, and be part of a growing performance programme.

We are particularly interested in outfield players and goalkeepers with experience in club, county, regional, academy, national age-group, school, university, or performance hockey environments.
