Womens Club Coach

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Head Coach to join our Women’s section for the upcoming season, with responsibility primarily for our 1st and 2nd XI teams.

We have three women’s teams and are looking to build a strong, positive and competitive environment across the whole section. We’re looking for a coach who can help develop players, improve team performance and bring energy and fresh ideas to our Thursday night sessions.

Training: Every Thursday, 7–9pm
Location: The Armitage Moseley Rd., Fallowfield, Manchester M14 6PA
Matches: Saturdays
Teams: Primarily Women’s 1st & 2nd XI
Pay: Competitive coaching rate

What we’re looking for
We’re open to coaches with different levels of experience - whether you’re an established club coach, an experienced player looking to move into coaching, or someone with a strong hockey background and a passion for developing players.

We’re looking for someone who is:

Enthusiastic and encouraging
Organised and reliable
Confident delivering engaging and challenging sessions
Passionate about developing players and teams
Able to create a positive and enjoyable training environment
Keen to help us compete and progress as a women’s section
Flexibility
We understand that coaching commitments can be difficult to fit around work and other responsibilities. Ideally, our Head Coach would be able to attend both Thursday training and Saturday matches, but we are also open to a Thursday-only coaching arrangement for the right person, with match-day coaching covered separately.

We are also looking for an Assistant Coach for our 3rd XI, so there may be opportunities for coaches who are interested in taking on a smaller commitment.
