Essex County: Hockey Coaches

We want to hear from motivated and talented coaches looking to join Essex County coaching set up for 2026/27 season and beyond. 

We are looking for age group leads and assistant coaches. 

If you are willing to develop your coaching and would like to challenge yourself with talented young athlete's then look no further. 

Building a squad throughout the season, competing against other counties in friendlies and working towards finals day where you compete against all other counties. 

Experience/Qualifications
Ideally the county is looking for an individual with England Hockey Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification and a proven track record of coaching achievement.

Individuals lacking one or other of these criteria (for instance experienced players looking to step into coaching or player-coaching) should apply, but should be able to explain clearly how their own experience and ideas make them the ideal candidate for the role.
