Ladies coach or player / coach

Finchfield Hockey Club (est 1958) based in Wombourne, near Wolverhampton is growing .... with 5 mens teams, 2 ladies teams and a vibrant junior section.

We have plans to grow on and off the pitch - with ambitions to play at the highest level we can, whilst having as much fun as possible.

We play and train at The Royal Wolverhampton School. (Ladies section train on a Tuesday night)

Our Ladies 1s were founded in 2021 and are currently playing in Mids 4NW

Our Ladies 2s are now going into their 3rd season in Mids 5

We have regular high attendance at training - so have a group of engaged players keen to improve 

The role would include 

• planning and running coaching sessions for our Ladies 
• working with captains to develop playing structure and tactics (we have veo camera technology to assist)
• Essential to coach / manage ladies teams on matchdays ( both 1s and 2s where logistics allow)
• Help us grow the ladies section. Catering for all abilities is essential at training in order to drive engagement
