Ipswich HC: Hockey Administrator - Part time

This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the Club. Working closely with the Committee, you will help ensure the smooth running of the Club and provide the systems and processes that support all areas of our activities.

Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

•  Membership administration and reporting using Pitchero.

•  Maintaining records for coaches, umpires, volunteers and DBS compliance.

•  Maintaining club records, policies and governance documentation.

•  Managing pitch bookings, facility usage and external hire enquiries.

•  Admin to support Club events and activities

•  Manage Junior entries, junior training membership, pitch bookings for junior competitions.

•  Organise and facilitate the implementation of summer league

•  Feedback to committee and Sports club Council as needed

•  Assist with Club compliance documentation and reporting as required by various bodies such as England Hockey

•  Maintain the Club calendar of activities and assist in the admin of inter/intra club tournaments for juniors and seniors

• Support treasury and financial activities such as: purchasing, match fees, processing etc

•  Annual reports to Sponsors

About you

You will be:

•  Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

•  Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently.

•  Confident using Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems.

•  Passionate about supporting grassroots sport and volunteers.

Desirable Experience

•  Administration within a sports club, charity or membership organisation.

•  Pitchero or similar membership management systems.

•  Committee or board administration.

•  Communications or website administration.
