Hockey Coach Wanted To Help Run Adult Section Training: 2026-27

Leatherhead Hockey Club are seeking a new coach to help run training for the adult section of the club on Tuesday evenings from 8pm to 9.30pm, starting from 8th September 2026.

The club will have 4 teams playing in the South East Region - Oaks Leagues (2-4) in 2026-27 (2 x Men, 2 x Ladies), and cater for a wide range of ages and playing standards. The role involves planning and running training sessions, alongside another qualified coach, to benefit the whole adult section of the club, upskilling the players and developing teams' match play.

Key Requirements for the Role:

• Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate coaching sessions to ensure they are effective.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication to engage all players.
• Coaching Qaulification (equivalent to England Hockey Level 2/Club Coach Course) is desirable, or willingness to complete this.
• Experience of coaching at a similar level.
• Available to coach on Tuesday evenings from 8pm to 9.30pm in Leatherhead, Surrey.
• Completion of a satisfactory DBS Check.
• Right to live and work in UK.

This is a paid role for 1.5 hours/week for approx 25 weeks (from early September to late March) with a break over Christmas and half term/s.

The hourly rate is negotiatble depending on experience and qualifications.
