Old Georgians HC: Junior Hockey Umpires

Old Georgians Hockey Club is seeking to appoint a small group of enthusiastic and committed umpires to officiate junior 11-a-side fixtures during the 2026–27 hockey season.

Role Overview:

• Officiate U14, U16 & U18 matches (11-a-side)
• Fixtures take place on Sundays over the hockey season from September - March (typically 24 - 26 Sundays)
• Matches are scheduled back-to-back, typically late morning to early afternoon
• Umpires are expected to be available for the majority of Sundays
  
  

This is an excellent opportunity for umpires looking to:

• Develop their officiating skills in a supportive environment
• Gain consistent 11-a-side match experience
• Progress along the England Hockey umpiring pathway
• Successful applicants will be part of a small, collaborative umpiring team, with ongoing support and development throughout the season

Paid role

• Match fees will be based on experience and umpiring qualification level

• Are enthusiastic about umpiring hockey
• Are keen to improve and develop their skills
• Can commit to regular Sunday availability
