Open/Men's EHL
Repton remain top of Division One North after winning 3-2 at third-placed Loughborough Students. Loughborough’s Owen Hunter scored two early goals either side of a Si Claris corner before a 55th minute Ben Hurst equaliser. Adam Dixon netted the winner from a corner with five minutes to go. Bowdon beat Deeside Ramblers to stay three points behind Repton, and and now three ahead of Loughborough, while Deeside move down to bottom. Harborne, in fourth, dropped back after a 3-2 defeat at the University of Nottingham. Olton & West Warwicks moved off the foot of the table with Elliott Morris’s second-minute corner the only goal in a 1-0 win over Durham University. Timperley and the University of Birmingham are just above the relegation places after earning a point each in their 2-2 draw.
A 3-1 win at Teddington helped the University of Exeter University extend their lead at the top of Division One South to four points. After Harry Grinham’s 2nd minute opener for Exeter had been cancelled out within 60 seconds by Jack Stubbings, second half goals from Jake Bennett and Kaden Draysey secured the win. Indian Gymkhana remain second but lost ground after a 5-3 reverse at Old Loughtonians. Loughts led 2-0 after 21 minutes and Gymkhana were only able to reduce the two-goal deficit once after that. Guildford missed the chance to go above Gymkhana when they were held to a 3-3 draw at Richmond. They’re level on points but trail on goal difference. Sevenoaks are a point further back and they also lost ground falling to a defeat in the Kent derby at Canterbury; Canterbury moving from eighth to seventh on the back of a 2-1 win. Havant won for the first time this season, their 5-4 win at Surbiton 2s saw them go above Surbiton who slip to bottom. Viacheslav Paziuk converted four corners for Havant who came from two down inside five minutes after a Will Haspel brace for the home side.

Leeds, Conference North leaders, beat Doncaster 3-0 to stay five points clear at the top and eight points clear of their Yorkshire rivals who are now fourth. Neston remain second after a 7-2 win over Didsbury Northern, including five corner conversions from James Gardiner. Two Jacob Barnes goals, the second four minutes from time, gave Lindum a 2-1 win at Ben Rhydding and they move up to third. Ben Rhydding are one of four teams at the foot of the table on five points. Durham University 2s are ninth after a 2-0 loss at home to Sheffield. Newcastle University and Oxton drew 2-2 to sit eighth and tenth respectively.
The top-two met in Conference West and it ended all-square at 1-1 between Clifton Robinsons and Chichester. Elliot Scott put Chichester in front on 41 minutes, before an Adam Wyatt equaliser ten minutes later. The result means both teams stay unbeaten and Clifton’s lead is still two points. Team Bath Buccaneers were able to close the gap on the top-two thanks to a 4-1 win at Bristol University. They go third above Marlow who lost ground after being held to a 3-3 draw at Isca. Ashmoor beat bottom of the table Exeter University 2s 3-1 and Cardiff & Met 2s joined Fareham on nine points just above the drop zone after beating the Hampshire team 3-2 with Ben Lazarevic converting a last minute stroke for the winner.
The leading four teams in Conference East all won so its status quo at the top. Front runners Hampstead & Westminster 2s beat Chelmsford 7-3 including four corners from Matt Guise-Brown. They’re two points ahead of London Wayfarers, who were 3-1 winners over Southgate 2s. Reuben Senzul hit a hat-trick for third placed Holcombe 2s in their 4-3 win at Bromley & Beckenham. Old Cranleighan in fourth won 8-2 at bottom of the table Brighton & Hove, including a hat-trick in the last five minutes for James Cutter. Spencer beat Wimbledon 2s 3-2 to join them on 10 points in mid table.
The top-two met in Conference Midlands and Leek extended their lead to four points with a 1-0 win over Oxford Hawks, Richard Cordon scoring the only goal of the game. Only two points separate the teams from third to seventh. Elliot Hibell hit a hat-trick in Norwich City’s 5-0 win over ninth-placed Stourport and they go third. City of Peterborough are level with them on 13 points after their 2-1 win over Barford Tigers. Nottingham University 2s are also on 13, they were held 2-2 at St Albans on 11 points. Banbury are on 12 points after a 2-1 win over bottom of the table, Birmingham University 2s.

Buckingham extended their lead at the top of Division One North to four points after a win and their nearest rivals dropping points. Buckingham beat Pendle Forest 2-0 with goals from Ava Ralls and Rebecca van Arrowsmith. Second-placed Gloucester City were held at Ben Rhydding. Chloe Cundick scored twice for the home team as did Nancy Whittlestone for Gloucester including a 57th minute equaliser to make it 3-3. Loughborough Students 2s are a point further back in third after their 1-1 draw with Repton. They’re joined on 14 points by Beeston who won 3-2 at Leeds. Olton & West Warwicks moved above Ben Rhydding and off the foot of the table after a 2-1 win the West Midlands derby at old rivals Sutton Coldfield.
Teddington take over from the University of Exeter at the top of Division One South on goal difference after defeating the students 5-1. All of Teddington’s goals came in a half hour period in quarters two and three, including a brace for Millie Attwell. Holcombe 2s go third, also on goal difference over the team they beat, Reading 2s, with a 3-0 win on the road. Surbiton 2s won 2-0 at Southgate and Lizzie Cooke scored twice as Bristol Firebrands beat bottom of the Harleston Magpies 3-0. Sevenoaks 1-0 defeat of Guildford means they go eighth above the Surrey-based team.

Bowdon 2s stay top of Conference North but were held 0-0 by Whitley Bay & Tynemouth to drop their first points of the season. Amelie Long scored all of Alderley Edge’s goals in their 3-0 win at bottom of the table Didsbury Northern which puts them three points behind Bowdon. Newcastle University trail them on goal difference in third after their 2-0 defeat of ninth-placed Wakefield. Megan Wildish and Nicky Kellett both hit hat-tricks in Fylde’s 9-1 home win against Kirkby Stephen. Durham University 2s Frankie Sinclair-Bruce and Sheffield’s Alexandra Buskwood both scored twice in their meeting but it was Durham who ran out 4-3 winners.
Cardiff & Met stay top of Conference West after their 3-0 win at the University of Oxford who were third going into the game. Cardiff’s Jamie Bulbring, the Division’s leading scorer, added two more to her tally. Trojans and Lansdown are five points back after both winning on Saturday. Lansdown beat Team Bath Buccaneers 2-1 and Harriet Kay scored twice for Trojans in a 4-1 victory against Exeter. Both teams leapfrog Oxford and Bath. Exeter slip to the bottom of the table as Slough move up to eighth thanks to a second successive win, a 2-0 defeat of near-neighbours Marlow. Clifton Robinsons 2s stay ninth after they fell to a 2-1 loss at Cheltenham, Emily Hobbs another to notch a brace for the home side.
Conference East sees almost weekly changes at the top and this week was no exception with London Wayfarers, leaders before the day’s play, going down to a 4-1 home defeat at the hands of Old Georgians. Wayfarers drop from first to fifth and OGs go up one place to third. They are a point behind new leaders Spencer who beat Wimbledon 2s 2-1. Iona Campbell scored twice as Hampstead & Westminster 2s moved up a place to second after a 2-0 win over Guildford 2s. Guildford drop a place to ninth as Canterbury won 3-2 at bottom of the table Barnes 2s to move up to seventh. Madeleine Newlyn hit a hat-trick as Old Loughtonians took the honours with a 3-0 win in their East London derby at Wapping.
A win in the Cambridge City - University battle saw Cambridge City keep hold of top spot in Conference Midlands. Charlotte Morgan and Matilda Edwards gave the students an early 2-0 lead, but City came back with goals from Isobel Johnson, Holly Dean & Rhianne Noor to secure a 3-2 win. They lead University of Birmingham 2s by two points. Birmingham won 4-0 at bottom of the table Harleston Magpies. Leicester City are a point further back after their 2-1 win at St Albans. Oxford Hawks won 2-0 at Cannock and Stourport and Nottingham Trent University shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw.
