    West Herts HC is looking for an experienced and committed hockey coach for the Ladies 1st XI squad. The squad reached the Investec Women’s Hockey League last season for the first time in their history. Whilst a great experience with much progress made they were not able to maintain their league status. They are very keen to make sure they can bounce straight back and be successful in the East Premier Division this season. We are looking for someone who can preferably start in July 2017 for pre-season training and matches leading up to the beginning of League games in September We have excellent playing facilities and a new pavilion. The club based in Watford, Hertfordshire, is minutes from the M25 and with direct tube and rail links to central London and the North. The club’s current setup is 5 ladies and 7 men’s teams as well as a thriving junior section. We have excellent relationships with the local schools & community. This position would be responsible for two evening training sessions each week and matches on a Saturday (all fixtures around the East region). The coach would also work alongside the Ladies 1st X1 manager. WHHC Ladies 1’s are a talented and ambitious squad. WHHC is looking to recruit a coach that can help develop the player’s technical ability and share the squad’s aspirations in becoming a solid performing team who want promotion back to the Investec Women’s Hockey League. The Coach will be supported by an experienced management team to run the administrative activities.

The successful applicant will also need to attend all Ladies 1st X1, home and away games.
