England Hockey Vacancies

England Hockey is the National Governing Body for the sport of Hockey.  The England Hockey has income and expenditure of circa £9m p.a.  It is responsible for the management and development of the sport from grass roots to elite activities.  The EHBs mission is “to provide effective leadership for all to fulfil their potential”.

In order to maximise the opportunity of the Olympic Games, England Hockey is currently recruiting for the following positions:

Relationship Manager - Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire and Isle of Wight

The Relationship Manager (RM) for Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire and Isle of Wight will join a team of 11 other RMs based across the country. RMs are critical to achieving the strategic objectives of EHB; attracting and retaining more people, helping our clubs to thrive and broadening our income. The successful candidate must have prior experience in delivering business outcomes through relationship management, with outstanding communication and influencing skills, capable of both a commercial and customer focused approach to objective delivery.

National Manager – Young People and Students (12 months Maternity Cover)

The National Manager - Students and Young People is responsible for researching, developing and taking to market projects and programmes designed to meet the demands and interests of young people and students in line with the England Hockey Strategic Plan. They will work closely with key personnel to effectively and efficiently roll out youth/student focused products and programmes, delivery of flagship products and programmes, and translating strategic priorities into clear and measurable outcomes. The successful candidate will ideally have a sound marketing and product development background, with understanding of young people, students and education issues.

National Manager – Officiating and Volunteers

The National Manager Officiating and Volunteers is responsible for leading the delivery of the EHB’s strategic aims and objectives related to officiating (umpiring, technical officiating and rules) and volunteers. The role requires research, development and delivery of programmes, projects and resources to support officiating, technical officiating, rules and volunteering. They will work closely with key personnel, organisations and associations at national, regional and county level to effectively and efficiently roll out all relevant projects and programmes.  The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who can quickly establish credibility and strong relationships across a wide and complex network of stakeholders.
