England U18 Girls travel to Belgium for their latest test matches

Between 12-14 July England faced Belgium in the cooler Belgian climate in a continuation of their test match series. Although there were no wins for the visiting side, every game was closely-fought.

Over the three-game weekend every match was decided before the second half began, as every draw was maintained and every winning score kept. While the England Girls' strategies and tactics were changed after half-time in order to keep the opposition guessing, Belgium proved to be up to the challenge*.

After the last game on Sunday, head coach Andy Bradshaw had this to say:
"This weekend has been a good experience, and all three games have been closely contested. We now know that we have some further work to do in our final preparations before we come up against this Belgian side in our second match of the European Championships."
