We have two great pieces of Flyerz news to tell you about. The first is #FlyerzWeek is happening 8-14 June, delivered in partnership with Access Sport and our Flyerz Clubs. There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved, whether you are a currently involved in Flyerz Hockey or would like to start, including the largest every Flyerz session on Saturday 13 June. More info is below, with activities for families, players, volunteers, coaches and clubs!

Secondly, we’re very excited to announce England and GB International Emily Defroand has become a Flyerz Champion, to support the Flyerz Community, encourage more clubs and players to get involved and help spread the visibility of Flyerz.

Emily explained;
 ‘The main reason I want to be a Flyerz Champion is because I’m a firm believer of inclusivity within sport. It shouldn’t make a difference depending on your background, gender, age or ability to have the opportunity to participate in sport’

What is Flyerz Hockey?
For those new to Flyerz, sessions are fun, friendly and inclusive of all abilities and ages. They enable disabled and non-disabled players to play together, along with the whole family as siblings and parents can get involved as well.
