All NIHC Finalists Now In Place

Slough, Canterbury, Leicester and Bowdon Hightown have joined the Senor Men in qualifying for the NICH Finals at the TrentFM Arena in Nottingham on 30-31 January. But it wasn’t a comfortable journey for two of the sides.

Whilst Slough and Canterbury cruised into the final, both Bowdon Hightown and Leicester lost a game apiece.

Bowdon’s game against Canterbury on 24th January was hard fought with the half time score standing at 2-2, but in the second half Canterbury’s Jen Wilson and Nikki Triggs scored to secure the victory.

The surprise of the day was when Leicester lost to fifth place Chelmsford. Sarah Bolton scored the first and last goals of the match for the Essex based side.

In the Junior Club Championships, Trojans and Belper qualified for the U16 and U18 Girls respectively. Bromley & Beckenham and Havant qualified for the U16 Boys Final and Old Lougtonians for the U18 Boys Final. Beeston Hockey Club Juniors filled the remaining Final spots, qualifying for both the U16 and U18 Girls Finals and the U18 Boys.
