The number of disabled people who take part in sport has grown significantly and England Hockey are committed to providing hockey playing opportunities with an emphasis on inclusion and participation.

Flyerz Hockey are fun and friendly sessions inclusive of all abilities and ages. It enables disabled and non-disabled players to play together, along with the whole family as siblings and parents can get involved as well.

What Our Flyerz Think

Hockey is a sport that's easily adapted to different ability levels, so there’s huge potential for hockey to become one of the leaders in disability inclusion. We want more disabled children, young people and adults to have access to our sport.

Tom from Wakefield Flyerz said:
"It is clear that the players who come along to our Flyerz sessions really love playing hockey. One lad says every week how much he loves to come along and take part. He enjoys greeting other members and is delighted when he is praised for the skills he has acquired.”
