These pages are all about the junior development pathway for players. There are three key areas to a junior player's development, which are listed below. Please click on the links to find out more about each one.
The Single System - The Player Pathway aims to provide the best possible talent development experiences for all players. It seeks to:
- Provide fun, engaging development opportunities that encourage player retention
- Develop exceptional young hockey players who could one day become world-leading players
National Age Group Squads (NAGS) represent England at U16, U18 and U21 level. The U16 and U18 squads are selected at the England Hockey Futures Cup. Selection for one of these squads is the highest honour that junior hockey players can attain.
