Please note: There is strictly no spectator parking on site. Parking is limited and is therefore reserved for teams and officials only. No parking outside the venue gates is permitted.

Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre is easily accessible via public transport, please see below for further information as well as local car park options. 

Please note: The Hackney Half Marathon is taking place on Sunday 30 April - click here to view the route. Public transport and the local road network will be significantly busier than normal with several road closures on the day. Click here for a full list of road closures. The Last Mile walking route from Stratford Station will also be busier with spectators for the marathon. Please factor in additional time for getting to the venue on this day.

Via Bus
Several bus routes connect Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre with Stratford and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The 308, W15 and N26 all stop outside Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre and the 97, 339, 388 and N205 all run through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and stop nearby.

Please ensure your purchase your ticket in advance of getting on the bus or use an Oyster/Travel card.

Via Underground Train
Nearest Tube station: Stratford

Stratford station is served by:
  • Underground: Jubilee and Central Lines
Via National Rail services
  • Abellio Greater Anglia for services to Liverpool Street and Essex and East Anglia
  • Southeastern High Speed 1 services to St Pancras International

Stratford International station is served by:
  • Docklands Light Railway (during event days, no services will run between Bow Church and Stratford and no replacement buses will be in operation, so please use local buses if you were planning to take this route.)

Local Car Parks
Please be aware if driving to the below car parks on the 30 April there are severe road closures in the area due to the Hackney Half Marathon. Please leave additional time if travelling by car. Click here for a full list of road closures and more information.

Nottingham Hockey Centre

Nottingham Hockey Centre is the premier hockey venue in the Midlands. The venue is situated just 15 minutes from the M1 motorway and 10 minutes from Nottingham city Centre, in the picturesque grounds of Highfields Park.

Nottingham Hockey Centre is a two minute walk from University Boulevard Tram Station, trams run every 3-5 minutes.

For the U16 Finals, parking can be pre-booked for £5.00 via the SEE Tickets website.

For the play offs, parking is  £5.00 on arrival.

University of Birmingham

Address: University of Birmingham, Edgbaton Park Road, Birmingham, B15 2TT.

By Bus – Numbers 61, X62 and 63 travel to the University of Birmingham Edgbaston Campus. Online bus timetables are available on the National Express Midlands Website.

By Train – The University has a dedicated train station, located at the Westgate entrance to campus. Up to six trains an hour depart for the University on the cross-city line between Redditch / Longbridge and Lichfield.

Old Loughtonians is the premier hockey club in North East London, Essex, and East of England, situated conveniently just outside central London.

There is parking available at the venue.
