Back to Hockey Campaign 2016

Taking place from 9th May to 19th June our 2016 national campaign promises to be bigger and better than ever as we aim to attract thousands of players back to hockey. Last year over 243 clubs delivered sessions and 4,500 players took part. Based on feedback from players, towards the end of this campaign we are also encouraging local clubs to come together and play small sided games against each other.

Click here to find out how other clubs have benefited from running Back to Hockey sessions and for clubs taking part in the campaign we will also provide a number of support tools to help you promote and run your sessions.

If you want your club to be a part of this national campaign please speak to your Relationship Manager to sign up and their details can be found here.

What is Back to Hockey?

Back to Hockey sessions are fun, sociable and informal and aimed at people who either haven’t played hockey for a number of years or who are looking to play for the first time. Don’t worry if you’re nervous or don’t remember any rules our Back to Hockey coaches will gentle guide you through this series of fun and friendly sessions. We promise it’s nothing like the schools days of muddy pitches and standing around waiting for a touch of the ball! Check out our new Back to Hockey video below.
