What is Back to Hockey?

A fantastically fun way to try something new

Back to Hockey is fun, social and informal. With sessions aimed at men and women of all ages and abilities.

Do not worry if you are a little apprehensive, unsure of the rules or worried that you won’t know anyone, our Back to Hockey coaches will gently guide you through a series of fun and interactive sessions, all in a super-friendly and relaxed environment

Each Back to Hockey session will see you develop your individual skills and take part in small-sided friendly games. Many players have also told us they’ve also got fitter as Back to Hockey sessions can burn up to 450 calories.

As well as re-discovering yourself, you will make new friends along the way too. Most Clubs regularly provide opportunities for Back to Hockey players to meet up and socialise, and some even offer coffee and cake after sessions!

We would also love to know how you get on by sharing your stories, photos and videos with us. You can post them on our Facebook page, tweet us or email them to
