Junior County Hockey Lead and Assistant Coaches

Derbyshire Hockey Association is looking for Lead and Assistant Coaches for the 2026-27 season to deliver the Junior County in Derbyshire.

Our Junior Hockey Academy runs on Sundays, from September to May, at Shobnall Leisure Centre DE14 2BB, and will comprise approximately nine 1.5 hour training sessions per age group, and 5 competition days against other Midlands Counties, plus an end of season tournament.

We are looking for Lead and Assistant coaches for our Academy squads. We run U13, U14, U15, and U17 age groups for both boys and girls.

Lead Coaches should be qualified to L2, or equivalent.

Assistant Coaches should be qualified to L1 or equivalent.

First Aid and Safeguarding certificates will also be required.

A DBS check will also be required

Coaches will be self-employed, at an hourly rate depending upon qualifications and experience.
