Women’s 3rd XI Coach (+ W1 Assistant Opportunity)
Firebrands Hockey Club BristolFollowing a club-wide wave of promotions in recent years, Firebrands Hockey Club is on an upward trajectory. We are seeking an ambitious, driven, and community-minded Women’s 3rd XI Coach to lead the team into the EH West Hockey North Conference.
This is an exciting period of transition and growth. The primary focus will be to maintain momentum, develop the current squad, and push the boundaries of what this team can achieve in a higher division.
The Bonus Opportunity:
For the right candidate, this role includes the unique opportunity to step up as the Assistant Coach for the Firebrands Women’s 1st XI. This involves working directly alongside the Head Coach during training and match days, gaining invaluable national-level experience with one of the top National League squads in the country and will come with a number of opportunities to independently lead sessions and match days.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Develop: Deliver high-quality, engaging training sessions and provide matchday coaching for the Women’s 3s in EH West Hockey North Conference.
Drive Progression: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, helping players develop technically and tactically.
Support the Pathway: Actively support the integration and development of junior players transitioning into the senior women's section.
Collaborate: Work closely with the wider coaching team to align playing philosophies across the club (with the potential to assist with 1st XI duties).
