Ladies 1XI Coach / Player Coach

Horsham Hockey Club Horsham, Sussex

We are looking for an experienced coach or player coach who is UK based and able to commit for at least 2 seasons.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:  

Select and lead a performance driven squad with an agreed set of principles and behaviours
Apply excellent knowledge of game tactics and how to embed them into the team
Produce challenging weekly session plans for (Wednesday night) 
Attending all league fixtures (Saturday) 
Utilise our VEO video camera, supported by 4 video analysts to provide clipped footage, to analyse match performance and provided feedback to players.
Create real opportunities for developing young players to advance 
Create an environment to attract new players
Work with our 2/3XI squads to align player development opportunities

Club wide deliverables

Provide positive input across the ladies' section and into the whole club 
Maintain the 1XI integration within the club that contributes to social activities, coaching, fundraising or umpiring for other teams 
England Hockey UKCC level 2, FIH Level 2 or above coaching qualification, or a significate level of high level coaching
First Aid Certificate and DBS Check  
Track record of successful positive coaching delivery  
Excellent people skills with a Firm but fair coaching style

The process would then progress to a meeting with the 1XI and trial training session. A successful outcome will lead to an offer.
