England Hockey Response To New Transgender Inclusion Guidelines

England Hockey has received the newly released guidance on trans inclusion in domestic sport from the Sports Councils Equality Group (SCEG), while staff members also attended the National Governing Body briefing session held earlier this week. 

Transgender inclusion in sport is important. England Hockey intends to follow the SCEG’s advice to read, and reflect on, the guidance and will be joining the upcoming workshops, further discussion and education sessions, and other support offered by the SCEG. 

England Hockey is committed to reviewing the existing policy in place in the game in light of this.
