Update on Step 4 submission and impact of new localised govt safety measures

Hockey stick
England Hockey’s submission regarding moving to Step 4 on our Return To Play planning remains with the relevant government authorities for their approval. Obviously the situation this week has evolved again.

We fully appreciate that players, clubs and stakeholders are keen to know more as soon as possible; please be assured that we are working as quickly as possible to ensure a safe and enjoyable return for our sport.

With regards to the further safety measures imposed in different parts of the country this week, the measures do still allow for small groups of no more than six to meet in outdoor public places. With the sport still at Step 2, these localised restrictions will not impact current hockey provision until further notice.
