What is a Community Use Agreement?

Many educational sites have a range of good sports facilities that are often under used outside of the traditional school timetable.  Encouraging facilities to open their sports facilities to the wider community can be mutual beneficial to all parties, but it is important that this arrangement is formalised with a Community Use Agreement (CUA).  For example, this will outline hours of availability, management arrangements, pricing policies and sports development plan. With this agreement in place, it should help secure a well-managed facility for the community to access.
