Chippenham HC: Women's 1s/2s Lead Coach

Chippenham Hockey Club is looking for an enthusiastic, positive hockey coach (or coaching team) to lead and develop our Senior Women's 1s and 2s squad on Tuesday evenings (7 – 9 pm) and potentially Saturday matches.

The Lead Coach will work with the Head Coach to devise and deliver a Playing Framework for their Section, that will enable the Club to achieve its agreed objectives in accordance with the Club’s Development Plan and Coaching Strategy. 

As part of their role they will:

• Set the Playing Framework (tactical coaching direction/framework) for their Section in conjunction with the Head Coach and Playing Committee Chair
• In conjunction with the Head Coach and the Playing Committee Chair, develop team formations and structures that allow players to move between teams with the knowledge of the Club’s playing method
• Plan and prepare the training sessions weekly, and provide this to any Assistant Coaches to support the training sessions
