Performance Squad Coach / Player-Coach Opportunity

Crewe Vagrants Hockey Club is seeking an ambitious and driven Performance Squad Coach, Player-Coach, or Coaching Partnership to help lead the next phase of our development.

📍 Location: Crewe, Cheshire

⏱ Commitment: Approx. 5 hours per week

💷 Pay: £30–£50 per session (dependent on experience)

📅 Training: Tuesdays 19:00–21:00 + weekend match day

📋 Reports to: Club Committee

We are a fast-growing club with strong foundations and clear ambitions. This role offers the opportunity to:

✅ Lead and deliver high-quality, structured training aligned with club objectives

✅ Support 1st team match day preparation and performance analysis

✅ Develop players across technical, tactical, physical and psychological areas

✅ Support youth transition into senior hockey

✅ Contribute to long-term performance strategy

Essential:

• Significant coaching and/or high-level playing experience

• Ability to deliver engaging, structured sessions

• Strong communication skills and high standards

Desirable:

• Level 2 (or equivalent)

• Experience with performance/senior squads

• Video analysis experience
