Horsham Hockey Club M1s Coach

Horsham Hockey Club is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Men’s 1st XI Coach to lead our men’s programme and play a key role in the  development and future of our club.

The candidate will be responsible for coaching and developing the Men’s 1st XI, with a focus on performance, stability, and long-term progression. This role is ideal for a coach who enjoys working within a strong club culture and is keen to contribute.

• Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions (1-2 times per week) for the Men’s 1st XI
• Coach and manage the team on match days (Saturday)
• Work closely with the Men’s captains to set standards, style of play, and team objectives
• Help stabilise the men’s section and attract new talent to the club
• Support the development pathway between junior and senior hockey
• Collaborate with the club committee and wider coaching team

We would expect the following:

• Holds a recognised hockey coaching qualification
• Experience coaching senior hockey
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Positive, collaborative approach aligned with club values
