The training programmes include the foundations programme, high-performance programme and JI programme, which all involve 2 day camps at locations around England. The competitions programme includes matches against top private schools/clubs/unis, international tours/tournaments and Indoor Hockey UK events. Over the last four years Hockey Mentors has supported 600+ players from all around England in its programmes, with 43 players being selected for international age group programmes at U16/U18/U21 level and 150+ in talent academies.

We are interested in speaking to coaches with the following attributes…

·       Strong technical skills coaching, with the ability to provide bespoke 1-1 feedback to players.

·       Strong 11-a-side games coaching, with the ability to organise teams quickly and an understanding of modern tactics.

·       Experience of working as part of a performance coaching team, with the willingness to learn as well as sharing their own expertise.

·       Ability to connect quickly with a range of players, inspiring confidence and fun.

·       Passion for helping junior players from state schools and/or ethnic minorities.

Hockey Mentors has a large coaching team that work across the training/competition programmes but we always try to find opportunities for new talented coaches who are passionate about what we do.
