Head Coach – Men’s 1st XI
Assistant Coach – Men’s 2nd XI

Khalsa Leamington Hockey Club are recruiting two ambitious and committed coaches to lead and support the development of our Men’s performance squads.

With five men’s teams, a thriving junior section, and a clear vision for performance and pathway development, we are looking to appoint:

 
1. Men’s 1st XI Head Coach
The Head Coach will be responsible for leading the Men’s 1st XI as they aim to build on recent success and progress further up the league structure. This role will play a vital part in shaping the identity and performance culture of the men’s section.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering high-quality midweek training for the Men’s 1st XI
Leading the team on matchdays (home and away)
Providing post-match feedback and performance analysis
Working closely with club leadership on player recruitment and long-term planning
Supporting the development of the wider men’s pathway
 
2. Assistant Men’s Coach (Men’s 2nd XI Focus)
The Assistant Coach will play a vital role in supporting the transition of players through the performance pathway, particularly focusing on the Men’s 2nd XI and working alongside the Head Coach.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting and leading elements of midweek training for both Men’s 1s and 2s
Coaching the 2nd XI on matchdays (home and away)
Providing feedback and development plans for players
Assisting with performance tracking and supporting junior integration
 
What We’re Looking For:
Previous coaching experience at regional or club level (Head Coach: higher-level experience preferred)
Minimum England Hockey Level 2 qualification
Strong communication, leadership, and planning skills
A passion for player development and team success
First Aid qualification and DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
