We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Junior Performance Coach to join our coaching team at Old Cranleighan Hockey Club. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering hockey sessions to young athletes and help drive our club’s exciting outreach initiatives in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach junior hockey sessions at Old Cranleighan Hockey Club.
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions for performance players on Friday evenings, focusing on developing advanced skills and competitive team play.
  • Must be available to coach on Friday evenings.
  • Active participation in our daytime outreach programme, delivering hockey-based activities at local schools, clubs, and community centers according to the outlined outreach schedules.
  • Create fun, engaging sessions for children aged from infant school through to Year 6, adapting for different abilities.


Requirements:

  • Demonstrable coaching experience, ideally with juniors.
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and able to inspire young athletes.
  • UK work eligibility (right to live and work in the UK).
  • Availability for both Friday evenings and daytime sessions for outreach programmes.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Safeguarding and first aid certification (desirable)
