St Albans HC: Men’s 2s Head Coach

Men’s 2s Head Coach - newly promoted to East Open - Men’s Premier Division

We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and enthusiastic coach to join and strengthen our Performance Squad Coaching team. The coach will work closely with, and be mentored by, highly experienced coaches and coach educators, including Martin Langston and Paul Cooper, both of whom bring international playing, coaching, and managerial experience, as well as extensive national league coaching backgrounds.

Commitment:  

Attend training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday 7.30 - 9.30 pm and attend the M2s matches on a Saturday (including travel)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Men’s 2nd Team within a high-performance environment
• Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions aligned with club performance objectives
• Support the development of talented youth players within the performance pathway
• Contribute to the ongoing culture, growth and success of the club
• Work collaboratively with club coaches to ensure alignment across squads

Experience Required:

This role is ideal for someone with proven coaching experience (England Hockey Level 2 qualification preferred) or an experienced national league or international player transitioning into coaching. 

Remuneration: This is a paid role
