The University of Nottingham Hockey is a leading university hockey club, consistently ranking in the top two in BUCS each year, and maintaining four National League teams across the Men’s and Ladies sections.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Performance Coach to lead our Men’s 3rd Team in the Midlands Premier Division and our Ladies 3rd Team in the Midlands Division One. This role is integral to our high-achieving club, which comprises 14 BUCS teams, 12 Weekend League teams, and a Development Squad, totalling around 300 active members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preseason sessions starting the week of 24 August.
- Deliver practical coaching sessions during the season.
- Attend Midlands Hockey Weekend and BUCS Wednesday matches.
-Collaborate with the Head of Men’s Performance Hockey and the Head of Ladies Performance Hockey to develop and implement a high-quality programme.
- Manage team selection for matches.
- Assist with player management within the performance squad.
Minimum Requirements:
- England Hockey Coach (Level 2) or equivalent qualification.
- Appropriate First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews in May/June 2026.
