Women's 1st team coach

Maidstone Hockey Club is a vibrant and inclusive club, committed to developing players of all ages and skill levels.

Our Women's 1st XI are in South East division 1 (East) The Women's Team have ambitions to challenge for promotion. 

Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sport, a strong understanding of coaching at this level if not higher, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate players. We are looking for someone who can be adaptable and will get the best out of the talent we have at Maidstone. 

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, organise, and conduct an effective training program for Ladies first & second team. 
* Attend all 1st XI matches.
* Develop and implement game strategies and tactics.
* Provide constructive feedback and support to players to enhance their skills and performance.
* Use of video analytics to develop players and game tactics.
* Foster a positive and inclusive team environment.
* Monitor and evaluate player progress and development.
* Collaborate with other coaches to ensure a cohesive club coaching approach. 
* ⁠Support progression between first and second team and engage in whole club selection process
Qualifications:
* Previous coaching experience at a similar level.
* Relevant coaching certifications (e.g., Level 2 or equivalent, safeguarding, first aid, etc).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively with players of all ages and varying abilities.
* Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
 
Rate of pay:
* Negotiable depending on experience
