Having grown up playing alongside her twin sister Sophie throughout the England age groups, Liv was selected with Sophie to join the Great Britain programme for the Paris 2024 cycle in January 2022. She made her senior international debut for England against Argentina that February.
Liv progressed through the England U16 and U18 sides and was set to captain England's U21s at the 2021 Junior World Cup before it was postponed. She has also been part of the GB Elite Development Programme for several years.
Since then she has established herself in the senior defensive pool through the Paris 2024 cycle, playing club hockey for Hamsptead and Westminster, after previously representing Loughborough Students and Team Bath Buccaneers.
