A world-class defender, Anna has been ever-present for both England and GB since making her senior international debut back in 2017.
Indeed she has barely missed her match during that period and has fast become one of the most well respected defenders around with her tenacious tackling and intelligent reading of the game. Nowhere better was that showcased than at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as she helped Great Britain to bronze with a series of sterling performances.
She also provides plenty of threat going forward too both with her wicked crosses and also her threat from penalty corners, having scored several crucial goals since her maiden strike against India in October 2019.
The summer of 2022 saw Anna play in her second World Cup before winning a fantastic Commonwealth Games gold medal in Birmingham, where she had attended University some years before.
Anna is also close friends with England Rugby centre Jonathan Joseph, with the two growing up together in Derby.
