  • England Hockey Job Club/Organisation: England and Great Britain Hockey

The post will also be the designated assistant coach for England U21 activity. The purpose of the GB Elite Development programme is to provide players with the best possible opportunity to achieve their international hockey ambitions. The Programme is funded by UK Sport as part of their National Lottery funded World Class Performance Programme. The objectives of the programme are to: • Identify and select the most talented future senior internationals with the potential to perform at World’s best level. • Deliver a programme that enables players to maximise the time they spend on tasks that support the development of the skills, physicality and character to become a medal winning Olympian. • Deliver junior international teams that excel at under-21 and non-under-21 level (European Championships and World Cup, and non-under 21 competition).
  • Chair | Woking
    Club/Organisation: The Hockey Museum
The Hockey Museum (THM) is looking to appoint a new Chair. For the last 7 years, the Board of Trustees has overseen the development of the Hockey Museum from its foundation to its current position as a fully Accredited Museum operating as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). Katie Dodd and the Board have led the development of the strategy which underpins the Hockey Museum’s progress. Following Katie’s decision to step down from this role, we are currently looking for a new Chair to take the Hockey Museum onto its next stage – including the move to permanent premises in Woking, planned for 2020. This is a purely voluntary role and will take as much time as an individual is prepared to commit. The minimum commitment would be a day a month with regular visits to Woking to the Museum itself. The Trustee Board currently comprises 8 trustees with a range of skills. We are looking for someone to complement these skills and, ideally, help to fill gaps in marketing and fund raising, which have been identified in a recent Resilience Project.
