Mixed Championships Finals Hits Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre This Saturday

Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre has been host to some of hockey's major events this summer, but it's not over yet!

Saturday 18 June will see 4 mixed teams battle it out for 2 trophies in the Tier 1 and 2 finals before England face Belgium in the FIH Pro League. 

Hockey is a fantastic sport where both men and women have the opportunity to participate together, with the Mixed Championships continuing to be the most popular for being inclusive, fun, and sociable, players love mixing it with others from their club to form a mixed side.

The first match sees Blueharts Mixed take on the University of Bath Mixed A at 9 am in the Tier 2 Final and Leeds Beckett University Mixed v Norwich City Mixed at 11 am in the Tier 1 final.

The teams have been competing in competitions to make it to the final with Leeds beating Bristol Firebrands 5-3 in a shootout after drawing 3-3, Norwich taking a 1-0 win over Woking HC, Blueharts sneaking 4 past Leak and University of Bath convincingly beating Eastbourne 7-2 in the Semi-Finals.
