U16 England Age Group Selections Made

We’ve reached the conclusion of another Futures Cup tournament in which players, coaches and spectators were once again welcomed to Oaklands College to witness some of the most high potential talent from across England, Scotland and Wales.

England Age Group coaches have observed every match and worked collaboratively with their Futures Cup counterparts, leading them to name the following England U16 assessment groups.

Please note that England U18s selection will be communicated on Tuesday 7 September following the conclusion of the School Games.

The listed players will be invited to further England Age Group observation and assessment activity, working toward a place in the final training squad to be announced later in the year. The players nominated for activity will receive further information by email in the next 48 hours.

England Hockey would like to place on record our sincere thanks to every player, coach, administrator, volunteer and parent / guardian for their hard work and dedication in arriving to this point.

We hope Futures Cup has been a great highlight and whatever the outcome of today’s decision, you have been able to take much from the experience and opportunity.
