Head Coaches for Mens 1s & Ladies sections

We are looking for inspiring and enthusiastic coaches for our men's and ladies teams for the 24/25 season.

Job Description

• Work with the Club & team captains to set objectives and overall plan for the season (or seasons)
• Plan & lead pre-season training in unison with captains & other coaches
• Plan & lead weekly training through the season, incorporating feedback from team captains
• (Availability to coach or player-coach on Saturdays is a bonus)

Men's 1st XI Coach at BBHC
BBHC has 3 men's teams in the South East region playing in the Invicta/Kent leagues. Men's 1s/2s training is on Wednesday evenings. We are open to tailoring our approach to enable a quality external coach to help us build an exciting and developmental environment for our squad of players.

Ladies Coach at BBHC
BBHC will have 3 ladies teams in the South East region in divs 1 to 5 and currently train on Tuesday evenings (this may be changeable).

We play/train in Erith (DA8, south-east London) and at Greenwich University Avery Hill campus (London SE9)

Both coach roles are paid roles for approx. 26 weeks from September to early December, and January to March.

The Club is working on a new development plan, and welcomes applications from coaches with their own ideas or experience to help BBHC grow and rebuild. We have a wide range of ages and playing levels in our club, enjoying the social side of playing hockey and are supported by some passionate coaches and volunteers.
