Bishops Stortford Ladies 1s & 2s Coach

BSHC would like to recruit an experienced coach for our Ladies 1s and 2s squads. 

Currently the Ladies 1s team play in East Women’s Premier League. At the time of placing this advert they are sitting in the top third. (They were relegated from the Vitality Conference league last season). The Ladies 2s play in East Women’s Division 1 and are currently sitting in the middle of the table.

We are aiming to recruit a talented coach to continue with the excellent work of our previous coach who’s stepping down after 6 years of leadership. We are looking for someone to take on committed, talented and passionate hockey players to continued and future success.

BSHC currently has 7 Men’s teams and 9 Ladies teams at the time of submitting this advert, however we will be introducing a Ladies 10s Development Squad for the 2024/25 season. The talent pool in our local area is growing, as is our club and our need for coaches is growing with it… 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Deliver high level coaching sessions to both teams on Training nights usually Tuesdays between 1900-2200 latest.

Coach the Ladies 1s team at matches, attending friendly and league games both home and away on Saturdays. 

Provide development feedback to the squad and individuals, clear de-briefs on training and game play. Work alongside our Ladies 1/2s captains to ensure correct team selections and carry out 121s with players not performing to the level expected. 

Required: Level 2 qualification
 
Pay - Competitive and will be linked to experience and coaching qualifications.
