DNHC Ladies 2s Coach

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic coach for the 2024/25 season for the following position:

Ladies 2s Coach (Our L2s play in NW Division 1)

Our Ladies 2s training is held on a Wednesday, 7-9pm at The Armitage Sports Centre, M14 6PA.

We are looking for a coach to develop our L2s team towards promotion into the NW Prem.

Experience and qualifications:

- High quality performance coaching to players, in line with the EH single system

- Enthusiasm for and experience of developing players and improving team performance

- Experience coaching at a similar level is desirable

Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver training sessions which advance the of skill and performance of individual squad members and the squads as a whole

- Act as a positive and professional role model, always displaying good coaching conduct, promoting an enjoyable and inclusive atmosphere

- Contribute to weekly team selection and provide timely performance feedback to all squad players

- Deliver pre-season training and assist in initial squad selection

- Saturday match preparation and attendance

- Work with other coaches and captains to maximise the development of players and squads and support the progression of junior players into senior squads

- Ensure that all coaching activities are compliant with government, EH and club guidelines and requirements to maintain safety for all participants

- Abide by and promote EH Code of Ethics & Behaviour, Equality Policy and Safeguarding and Protecting Young People policies

- Optional: there may be the opportunity to cover coaching sessions for other teams in the event illness, absence etc.
