Club Coach - Adult Section

Hockey Coach Wanted for 2024-25 Season

Leatherhead Hockey Club are seeking a new coach to run training sessions for the adult section of the club on Tuesday evenings, starting from September 2024, from 8pm - 9.30pm.

The club will have four teams playing in the South East Region - Oaks Leagues (2 x Men and 2 x Ladies) in 2024-5, catering for a wide range of ages and playing standards. The role involves planning and running training sessions to benefit the whole adult section of the club, upskilling the players and developing teams' match-play.

Key Requirements of the Role:

• Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate training sessions to ensure they are effective.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication to engage all players.
• Coaching Qualification (Equivalent to England Hockey Level 2) is desirable or a willingness to complete this.
• Experience of coaching at a similar level and aptitude to liaise with team captains to guide training.
• Available to coach on Tuesday evenings in Leatherhead, Surrey from 8pm - 9.30pm.
• Right to live and work in UK.

This is a paid role for 1.5 hours/week (approx 25 weeks from mid-September until late March with a break over Christmas and half terms.

The hourly rate offered will depend on qualifications and experience.
