About Us:
Old Cranleighan Hockey Club is a vibrant and ambitious club committed to nurturing the talents of our junior members. We are aiming to provide a comprehensive training program to develop technical skill and tactical awareness, preparing our teams for competitions during the winter season. Our recent successes, including our men's 1st team winning the regional qualifier, highlight our dedication to excellence and our aspirations in Indoor Hockey.


Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Indoor Hockey Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will lead indoor hockey training sessions for our junior members, ranging from under 10s to under 18s, at our designated venues. They will possess a deep understanding
of indoor technical skills and tactics, capable of enhancing the performance of our teams and contributing to their success in competitions.


Key Responsibilities:
• Delivering high-quality indoor hockey training sessions to junior members.
• Fostering a positive and supportive environment for skill development and teamwork.
• Collaborating with age group leads to contribute towards team selection for
competitions.
• Monitoring and evaluating player progress, providing constructive feedback for
improvement.
• Demonstrating commitment to personal and professional development.


Requirements:
• Strong understanding of indoor hockey technical skills and tactics.
• Availability to conduct training sessions on Tuesdays (6:00 pm - 8:30 pm) and Fridays
(6:30 pm - 9:00 pm).
• Availability to coach our teams at the London Championships and the UK Indoor Hockey
Championships at K2
• Willingness to work collaboratively with age group leads and club management.
• Passion for youth development and a desire to contribute to the club's growth.
• Previous experience playing indoor hockey at a competitive level is preferred but not
essential.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and self-improvement.
