Miriam made her England debut in 2017 and was the reserve goalkeeper for the 2018 Vitality Hockey Women's World Cup in London.
She was called into the GB training squad in February 2022 and earned her first GB cap during the 2022–23 FIH Pro League season, having featured once in GB's successful Olympic qualifying campaign. That form carried her to a maiden Olympic call-up: she was Great Britain's number-one goalkeeper at the Paris 2024 Games, reaching the quarter-finals on her Olympic debut just four months after the step into her career-long ambition to follow her goalkeeping hero Maddie Hinch onto the biggest stage. She has continued to feature for England through the 2024 and 2025 Pro League seasons.
