Adult Championships entries closing soon! 

New for 2021-22 we have introduced specific cup weekends for Men’s and Women’s Championships - these have been scheduled in the priority centralised calendar to help avoid clashes with league activity. With no more need for two games in a weekend or losing players to other Sunday commitments, this is the perfect opportunity for teams to prepare for a proper cup run. 

The different Tiers, set by the Grade at which you play your league hockey, means there is the opportunity for all teams, no matter your standard, to have a fair crack at cup glory. 

The Mixed Champs remain our most popular cup activity. It’s inclusive, fun and social and allows players from different teams and sections of the club to come together for some competitive but spirited hockey. 

Closing dates for entries have been staggered by competition. Check below to make sure you do not miss out and get that entry in on time. 

• Men’s and Women’s Tier 2, 3 & 4 – 12:00 (midday) Monday 27 September 2021 
• Mixed – 12:00 (midday) Monday 18 October 2021 
• Men’s and Women’s Tier 1 – 12:00 (midday) Monday 25 October 2021

Masters Championships entries close in early October! 

New for 2021-22 we have introduced a third age group in the Women’s Masters. The Women’s Over 55s will make its debut alongside the traditional offers for Over 35s and Over 45s. The Men’s Masters offer opportunities at the usual Over 40s, Over 50s and Over 60s age groups. 

We will also be trialling a single Tier entry competition, with a Plate competition for all early round losers. By relaxing the player eligibility across the board, we hope this will create more meaningful competition with equal opportunities for all entrants. 

Closing dates for entries have been staggered by competition. Check below to make sure you do not miss out and get that entry in on time. 

• Men’s Over 50s and Women’s Over 45s – 12:00 (midday) Monday 4 October 2021 
• Men’s Over 40s, Over 60s and Women’s Over 35s, Over 55s – 12:00 (midday) Monday 11 October 2021

Junior Championships start next weekend! 

Entries into the England Hockey Junior Championships closed earlier in September. Draws have been shared with teams and further communications will follow early next week to confirm the next steps and support teams in the build up to competition starting in October.
