Coaches, officials, welfare officers, and club leaders are vital to the growth and development of hockey, creating safe, welcoming environments that enhance player experiences on and off the field. At England Hockey, we recognise the importance of supporting these key contributors. Our membership model removes cost and administrative barriers, providing accessible, high-quality training to equip them with essential skills.
By increasing the capacity for coaching, officiating, and safeguarding workshops up to fivefold, we’re ensuring these roles are well-prepared to meet evolving standards, particularly in safeguarding. Revised standards for coaching and other key roles further reinforce our commitment to a safe and inclusive hockey environment.
