A player who thrives on the biggest occasions, Liam has become known for his dazzling play and ability to score the most spectacular of goals.

Liam first shot to international prominence at the 2018 World Cup when, as a late injury call up, he shone as England claimed a fourth-placed finish, producing two sensational strikes. That came after he had won a bronze medal with England at the Commonwealth Games earlier in the year and featured at the 2017 Hockey World League final.

He then went on to score four times during the 2020/21 FIH Hockey Pro League, twice for England at the 2021 EuroHockey Championships and then four more times for GB on the sport's biggest stage - the Tokyo Olympics. . In the summer of 2022 he helped England win a Commonwealth Games bronze medal in front of a home crowd in Birmingham.

He also lives with Giselle Ansley and Chris Griffiths, with the three often hosting some hotly contested corridor cricket matches.
