Widely regarded as one of the nicest people in hockey, Chris is also an exceptionally skilful player, as has been seen on many occasions throughout his career to date.
Having suffered with injuries that prevented him from appearing at the 2016 Olympics and 2018 World Cup, Chris hit back in style during the 2019 FIH Hockey Pro League when he scored four goals in four games, including an unstoppable finish in an away victory over The Netherlands.
He then finally got his chance to appear on the Olympic stage when he was selected for Tokyo 2020, helping GB to a fifth-placed finish. In the summer of 2022 he helped England win a Commonwealth Games bronze medal in his home town of Birmingham.
Away from the pitch he is also a talented cricketer and a passionate Aston Villa fan.
